Mission & Goals

The mission of the NAPS tournament is to celebrate the excitement, diversity, joy, and excellence that top elite prospects from around the world have to offer when they are all brought together into a premier tournament setting. Young hockey players will be given a unique experience, exceptional competition, and the ultimate challenge to be the best. Through the tournament, we hope to promote youth hockey in Rochester, New York, and bring the community together in this celebration of hockey excellence.

The goals are to:

» Present a competitive AAA elite tournament where top prospects will be challenged to compete at the highest level they have ever competed at.

» Make this event "a fun hockey weekend" for all the athletes, coaches, organizers, local hockey and business communities, and others who want to take advantage of its tournament offerings.

» Give great exposure to all athletes as scouts from Junior Major, Colleges, and Prep Schools will be invited.

» Bring together national and international teams in order to compete in a "highly-competitive-hockey"  tourney.

» Connect with the local business and hockey communities.
